Going Around Taiwan Day 4~

Day 4 itinerary:
Jiufen @ Shifen @ Golden Waterfall

Before depart to Jiufen, we have a breakfast at the same restaurant again
As for me I still ordered the same menu, the wrap!
But this time my little bf has changed to another that similar to Big Breakfast in Malaysia!
Unfortunately this day the weather is very bad. Even worst than Cingjing!
Feeling sad because this place is very beautiful.
Due to the weather we cant walk too much~

Jiufen is a small town was a relatively isolated village until the discovery of gold
during Japanese occupation in 1893, quickly developing the town due to a gold rush.
Many buildings in the town remain unchanged to this day, reflecting the Japanese
influence on both architecture and culture on this island.

Jiufen Old Street @ The entrance~
我们真的是“吃货”啊!哈哈!
Fried Prawn Ball! Love it! I bought twice! NT$50
WOW... delicious! look nice right!

Inside the cinema
Lunch Time~
Fish Ball NOODLES Soup! Nice try, Not bad!
After eat, lunch and shopping at Jiufen.
The view on the way to Shifen! Strong wind and tide!

Next station: Shifen
Shifen Old Street is a bustling hub for those egager to get a glimpse
of an old railroad town which still retains the charm of yesteryear.
Originally built to transport coal, the Shifen Old Street stop
has now become one of the most popular on the Pingxi rail-line.

The sky lanterns at Shifen Old Street are of particular note.
Once used as a signaling system for those living and working in the railroad industry,
visitors today paint their wishes with calligraphy before releasing the lanterns into the sky.
Releasing a sky lantern costs TWD100~150 each.
So sad is I can't release the sky lantern~ T.T
I will visit here next time!

Finally arrived, but still raining heavily!
Kelvin with the railway~

Kelvin, Choo and Angela~
Bridge that connect to another end~

Shifen Railway Station~
We didn't took much photo at Jiufen and Shifen...
Due to the heavy rain, sad!
We also went to Golden waterfall, unfortunately raining heavily,
We not managed to go down n take photo~
Too bad so sad!
Time to go Taipei~

We stay at Ximending area, so is quite convenience to go shopping around the place~
Here is the photo of our room~
One night is about MYR300~ expensive right...
Someone requested bathtub~ No choice la....
Overall I will rate them 4 star per 5
Nearby train station, room is clean
Unfortunately the breakfast is too simple! Room expensive but breakfast less choice of selection~
